Thanks to everyone who voted and made me brav enough for a drastic change--I am loving my new do! My hairstylist is awesome!

Christine and I are already having a blast and our plan to make Jordan and Rachel BFF's is working perfectly --Rachel thinks her toys are all waaaay better than all of her toys. Yay! Right now we are getting ready to head to the beach and go shopping. Wahoo!

I have a hair appointment on Monday...so now I just have to decide what I am going to do. I want to look hot! Mature and sexy :-) What would you choose? Stay long? Go short?

Still in the middle of nowhere but at a sonic and i am SO HAPPY!

4th of July

Sam was on call so we were stuck, I mean stayed here for the 4th. So I convinced my parents and one of my brothers to come spend the weekend on the res.

GOTCHA Trevor!! Yes--it is really far in the middle of nowhere..and there really is NOTHING here. (obviously he is not a devoted reader of my blog-because this is not a fact that I hide) :-)

We did have a BBQ--and here is Rachel insisting on preparing and serving everyone's food.

We did get to watch Rachel play some Tball (the highlight of the trip for the grandparents)

And we hung out a little bit at the canyon. Trevor enjoyed sitting on the edge and driving mom crazy (although she couldn't resist taking pictures while telling him to back off the edge) :-)

There was a pretty cool sunset.

We didn't hear about any official fireworks shows, but it turned out there were some somewhere, because we could see some from our back patio. After the spectacular show here, we went inside and watched the Boston Pops on the tv. :-)

Dogsitting

Rach got to dog sit this little dog for 5 days. It was little and cute and well-behaved just like we thought we wanted. At times it was so laid back that it didn't really do anything. It didn't get the concept of "fetch" and Rach thought it would be fun to have a dog that would catch a frisbee. I thought it was fun to have it for a few days, and now I am no longer in any hurry to get a dog. :-)
